The St. Regis Istanbul

Hello, Our experience was a disaster. We waited an hour to get our room, after which we were told it would take another five minutes because we were being given an upgrade. In the end, we received the room we had originally paid for. We had not requested an upgrade; we simply wanted our room, as we were tired after our journey. The staff were very rude, and the room we were given was dirty, with dirt on the floor and in the bathroom, and dust everywhere. This is unacceptable. At the same time, another gentleman was also complaining. He told the staff that, at his age, he had stayed in many hotels around the world, but had never returned to his room at 5 p.m. to find that it still had not been cleaned.

My wife and I are visiting Istanbul for the first time. We chose this hotel through Amex travel collection. The hotel has a great location, along with spacious rooms — but what really set it apart is the hotel staff. We arrived early at 10am - Eren at the check-in desk was extremely attentive and accommodating. Service here was definitely beyond my expectations. Would definitely stay here again the next time we visit.

It is a luxury hotel very well located in a first-class commercial area. Well connected to the city's iconic places. The room is very spacious and beautifully decorated. No detail is lacking. The bed is very large and comfortable, and the bathroom is spectacular. The breakfast is à la carte and is served at the table. The staff is charming and very professional. Everything is very good.
