My stay at the Blanca hotel was good overall. The property is in a nice location with easy access to move about, and Medicsl Park hospital is right across the street. The hotel is pleasantly welcoming with a lovely airy reception. Check-in was quick and efficient, and Veysi, a cleaner, readily offered to help me with the luggage to my room. Such a lovely humble man. Thank you, Veysi, for your kind gesture. The morning reception staff isn't fluent in English and it makes it a little difficult to communicate, often making use of the "translation" app. Ata, who works second shift in reception, is a breath of fresh-air, with a beautiful demeanour. The rooms are not big, but roomy enough for short stays, with good amenities like shampoo, conditioner, body gel, hair-dryer, mini bar, safe, and bottled water. The beds are comfortable, with good quality bedding. The one thing missing is an iron, which is not even available to borrow from housekeeping, forcing a guest to use their laundry service for a fee. This is not acceptable business practice. The hotel is a well-kept condition and very clean, which is imperative for me. Hopefully, when this property is due for renovations, carpet in the bedrooms will be eliminated. It'll be an enormous improvement. Breakfast offers an array of fresh fruits to please any taste. I didn't appreciate the scrambled eggs floating in water, or fried eggs overcooked with cheese. They have platters with several cheeses, but unfortunately I wasted quite a few pieces due to not knowing what type of cheeses they were. Writing the cheese type on a tag would avoid waste. On my last day at breakfast, I asked for an omelet with tomato and very little cheese, and I was served a fried egg with a lump of cheese. (Picture attached). I truly believe this being due to a language barrier, although anywhere in the world an omelet doesn't look like a fried egg. Lol They then brought me another fried egg, this time with no cheese. I didn't complain and ate it so as to not cause them stress. On my first day at breakfast, a young hostess Selin stayed basically almost glued to me whilst I was trying to choose what to eat. I still can't quite figure out why because I only use the little side plates usually used for bread. I don't ever use a regular size plate, that's how little I eat. Having a waitress / hostess following a guest around is a bit awkward. This is something that a guest might feel annoying. The dining-room food menu is very good quality, fresh, and well prepared. I assume it's a different chef from breakfast. I would like to commend Osman Sen, the waiter who served me on a few occasions in the evening. Osman is a quiet and respectful person, with a kind mannerism who performs his job in such a quiet, yet efficient way. Thank you, Osman, for the lovely service you extend to your guests. Despite having had a few hiccups, I would absolutely recommend the Blanca hotel. It's a pleasant place, with a quiet atmosphere to enjoy after a busy day. Lastly, I want to thank everyone who made my stay a pleasant and safe one whilst in Izmir. Wishing each and everyone blessings in your future endeavours. Best wishes and kind regards ✨️ 🪷🙌

Blanca Hotel was a hotel I chose after doing a lot of research. I made the right choice. It's clean and the staff are attentive. The breakfast presentation and food are good. It's a hotel I would recommend to friends and family and would definitely go back to.
