Megapole Hotel

arrived at the hotel at night without reservation our principle liked the decor but a little later by going to the bathroom was all clogged. Disappointed, the breakfast was the day before. the price and view was good...... not recomended

I like this place. It works. It's just a five minute walk from Red Square and the Bolshoi and a number of other attractions. It's spotlessly clean and the decor is both recent and good. It's a tad noisy with its strange toilet system that churns waste before firing it through the plumbing and the fridge coming alive at night. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the security is good. The only main criticism I have is that it's very well hidden. It took my taxi driver 10 minutes to find it even after reaching the address on the website so when travelling there take the number of the hotel for the driver to call for directions in. There's no breakfast offered but there's loads of cafe places nearby so no worries there. It's cheaper than almost any other quality hotel I could find near Red Square.
