Nilya

I cannot begin to tell you how perfect Hotel Nilya, the owner and staff are. I have traveled and stayed at many places around the world and the genuine care you will experience here is far and away the best you will ever have. The location is the best you can imagine - all the major sites are within a few minutes walk and there are lots of nearby restaurants. The breakfast provided is outstanding- fresh fruit, breads, and eggs any way you want that come to the table still bubbling. The rooms are nice as well. The real crowning glory of the hotel is its owner, Nazmi and the excellent staff he has in place. They go well beyond the extra mile to make your trip memorable. Even after only 2 days, you feel like you are leaving family behind. Price is more than reasonable and I have stayed at hotels more than quadruple the price but they can't compare to service you will receive here. This is the first place in Turkey I havent been asked to write a review which I hope shows how genuine my feelimgs are for this hotel. Selcuk itself is beautiful and Hotel Nilya is by far the shiniest gem in its crown.

It's a nice small boutique hotel in Selcuk - Average/Good. But 1 additional Star for the staff - friendly & helpful. We chose this for 1 night as I wanted to visit the Ephesus Ancient City and the St. John's Basilica. There is nothing fancy about this hotel, and it's a small practical place. Decent accommodations. Rooms are basic but well maintained. Beds are good. Breakfast is basic but served warmly. Staff is friendly and helpful. They allowed us to use the kitchen briefly. Helped us with travel and directions as well, without trying to sell us anything. The only challenge was to drag our bags from the Railway Station to the Hotel - a walk of 600-700m, with a HUGE elevation!! But we later found that almost all such small boutique hotels are in the same area.
