Calamie Hotel

Calamie Hotel, where we decided to stay during our short two-day holiday, is advantageous due to its proximity to Narlıkuyu village. In the evenings, you can walk to the fish restaurants in the village. The most attractive thing about the hotel is its pier and beach in the bay, which is approximately one km away by car. The bay and pier, also known as Levantine Bay, are just The hotel serves its customers. Even if you get an average service, the beauty of the sea makes it all worth it. So, we decided to spend a few days here in October every year. The transportation to the city we live in is closer than other coastal cities. Hotel prices are more reasonable at the end of the season. Hotels of the same level. The rooms have been renovated and are more presentable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is an open buffet but mediocre. In summary, it is recommended for small holidays just for the sea and relaxation, without raising too many expectations.

We were greeted by a friendly, smiling chap on reception. All good. Our room was fine.. except the mini bar fridge was not working, but within 30 minutes was replaced with another. All good. We then decided to go to the beach.. being a Saturday, and busy, we thought we would play it safe and go to the hotel's own "Beach Club", which is 2 minutes drive from the hotel. When we arrived there, we were greeted by uninterested young staff, we searched 2 vacant lounge chairs.. There were none. We Explained to the staff that we were guests of the Calamie hotel, and this is their own beach.. there should be a lounge chair for us !!! But No !!!!! And worse still , the staff could not be less interested, did not apologise and did not offer alternatives as to where to go !!!!!!! Rubbish. Really Bad!!!!!! We went to Yaprakli Koyu.. We decided to eat dinner at the hotel.. Buffet food was fine.. not great, but OK. Service/waiters were miserable, rude and unhelpful.. and created a real nasty atmosphere in the restaurant .. same was at breakfast too !!!!! Would we return ? Definitely not.

Hotel is located between Narlikuyu and Cennet/cehennem district after kizkalesi,Mersin. It is far away from Silifke about 20 km,and 55 km after Mersin city center. Good services.with optimal prices. During summer time may be crowded otel and surroundings
