Petunya Beach Resort

Vacationing with her husband in June 2026. First time in Bodrum, always vacationing on the Antalya coast. Nature, climate, sea, everything is gorgeous! Hotel Petunya) in general we liked everything, the rooms are updated type after renovation) but small enough, the balconies are also small, two could fit slightly, and the bathroom as well as the shower cabin are small, if anyone is larger))) can feel uncomfortable, but this was the case with us, maybe others are bigger. The air conditioning in the room is new, it's ok. Cleaning) you can say that we did not have it, well at least the garbage was taken out) on the 11th day before departure, the floor was typely wiped, but it is formal) we only asked for the t/paper and new towels) further on we managed ourselves, did not bother with it. Lots of mosquitoes. The area is small but very cozy, everything is within walking distance, greenery, flowers, banana trees, everything is beautiful. We liked the food, everything is delicious and fresh, everything was enough, fruit was always in large quantities, no queues were observed. Ice cream from lunch till late, waffles, snacks, everything's great. The staff are smiling and polite, it's fine. The animation is good, unobtrusive, artists, fire shows, well, it's been written about, I won't repeat it. Bar. To me everything is so good, but often things ended, whiskey, wine, tequila, and in all bars at the same time)))) well, the next day everything appeared. Airan e water is freely available in every bar in small bottles. Comfortable. There were few Russian-speaking holidaymakers in our period, the hotel is not strongly oriented towards us, because the restaurant snack menu and cocktail map lacked translation into Russian, some of them caused difficulty) but were understood. The sea is chic, the water is very clean, the fish swim, the bay, just chic!!! Beach. Here's the interesting part. There is something to compare, there were also on the rocks in Kemera, and on the plates and pebbles in Alanya, well a lot of places, read that there are problems, a narrow beach area, etc., but here p...ts, thought I would not be surprised by anything) deckchairs are all new, light, fine, but they stand so close together that Crimea rests, it will be complicated by umbrellas that stand so low that we just all hit their heads, and scratched their foreheads, you have to be a dwarf to be comfortable) to walk to the sea through their rows, then it is a quest full, on the legs, heads of other holidaymakers, cancer, sideways))))) well of course in this chaos also lived local large dogs, who with us bathed in the sea, rested on the sand between us and deckchairs, and coped immediately with their need) and nobody was embarrassed, local color))))) entry into the sea... everyone has his opinion, I did not like at all, entry is not gentle as they write, when entering a sharp descent to a depth of half a meter with pebbles, very uncomfortable not to enter, many were in corals, then sand, fine! Sunbeds occupy at five in the morning, sometimes at eight in the morning there was no more available) Promenade between the hotel and the beach, in the evening there is a place to walk, the location is nice and beautiful. The village of Ortakent itself is very calm, only Turkic holiday houses, no market, no shopping, a couple of grocery stores, Migros,A100, and one pharmacy, no entertainment. So you have to go to Bodrum or shopping center on the route, calculation only by card, Russians don't work, Belarusian norms. Bottom line, well rested, everything liked, the problem is the beach, but say it so all along the coast of Bodrum) In Petunia would return at an adequate price, everyone have a good rest!!!

We had some hesitations on our way to the hotel. However, from the very first day, we were greeted by friendly staff. Furthermore, their service, quality products, and prompt response to any questions truly provided a 7-star hotel experience. I especially want to mention the names of those who welcomed us: Ms. Özlem, who greeted us with a smile, Mr. Sinan, Mr. Mustafa (night manager), Mr. Mehmet (day manager), Ms. Güler (whose name reflects her cheerful demeanor), the head chef (I don't remember his name but I remember he's from Aksaray ☺️), the waiters; especially Osman, Yusuf, Kuzey, Samet, Tinatin, Chef Emirhan at the sneak bar, Melih the pizza maker, Gülçin, Gökhan and others whose names I can't remember in security, and Serhat, who was in charge of the beach – thank you all so much…
