Jiva Beach Resort

It actually is as good as they say it is!! Family of 9 in 3 different rooms, one "loft" room, one Family room and one pool-view (just) room. All rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy with great showers and effective air-conditioning (which was needed in the 35deg heat) - only complaint was a strange smell towards the end of the week in the Family room, but after a bit of haggling another room was provided next door. On an All-Inclusive package. The food was amazing in the main buffet restaurant, great choice for breakfast, lunch & evening meal - plenty of it as well! The other restaurants were great too - you ain't gonna starve at this resort. Drinks were plentiful as well and proper branded spirits + EFES beer/lager. Swimming pools were clean and the water was warm, just enough to cool you down and probably the same temperature as the sea! Beach was pebbly, but sunbeds were soft with deep comfy mattresses. Treat yourselves and hire a cabana on the beach for the day - you get a dedicated "butler" who looks after your every need - our guy was amazing and certainly earned his tip! Beach bar/restaurant is great with excellent service from friendly staff. Nice to sit and watch the sunset with some chilled music and a strong G&T - just fabulous. Water slides were fun for kids and adults - were never too busy when we were there. Overall an excellent choice of hotel, sparkling clean with the most friendly and helpful staff who are a credit to the hotel. A special mention must go to Tayfun who was the most amazing guy who looked after us impeccably wherever he popped up, but mainly poolside bringing us generous spirits, beers and cocktails all day long! Thank you for being so kind to us all! The only negative really were the flight delays going and returning, but that was just bad luck and didn't detract from an enjoyable Family holiday. The hotel was located close to wanted destinations, the rooms were cleaned everyday and everything needed was provided in the bathroom or in stores within the hotel, definitely worth the money. The staff were very nice and welcoming, often helping us with problems we faced during the stay, you can also just press a button in front of the place to get a taxi immediately. There were very talented singers and a musical that we enjoyed, though the noise could last late at night. The food was varied and SO delicious. The beach and pool was nice. Worth the stay.
