Grand Yazici Mares

The place is really beautiful, slightly tired but the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent and plenty of it. The rooms were very comfortable and were cleaned every day. We made several trips into both Marmaris and Icmeler, both interesting to visit as long as you know how to drive a bargain! My only complaint would be that, when it comes to meal times, people are allowed to smoke at their tables when they want to. I find that really selfish, if people like to smoke, please could they have a smoking area for diners who wish to do that? Apart from that, we loved it. So much to do and plenty for young children to enjoy. Air on throughout the buildings was a pure delight, especially when it was 41 degrees outside!

Overall, I am very satisfied with the hotel. I am pleased with the service, the food, and everything else the hotel offers. However, I would like to complain about the night manager. His way of speaking to guests was very rude and unprofessional. He made a "be quiet" gesture with his finger and used inappropriate hand gestures toward us. Such behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect the standards expected in a hotel.

I would like to thank Narin, Huriye, Metin, and Muhammet from F&B; İlhan from Pinebar; Salih and Canberk from Stonebar; Erkan from Lobbybar; Gülçin, Rojin, and Burak from Corner; the ladies working in the gözleme (Turkish flatbread) section; and the cheerful girl at the bubble tea cart for their hard work, service, and smiles. May their smiles never fade.
