This hotel has such a nice view in the pictures that you'd think it's the paradise!
But once they robbed HALF of our money from the electronic safe in the room we changed our minds. It got worse when the management said we were lying.
The worst: when I reported the incident to the police the manager threatened me that if love my wife I should leave the hotel! We stayed there for our honeymoon.
By the way, the hosts use to come in the room without knocking the door, as rude as it is.
Later we found out that this incident has happened to some other guests too.

We were involved in the Gold Trail fiasco and ended up at Panorma Park when our first booking fell through.
We arrived at seven in the morning -- we were the last drop off as the hotel is not in the centre of Icmeler and as others have said, is up a bit of a hill. This did worry us at first, as it felt like we were a long way from civilisation, but we quickly found a route into Icmeler and came to like being a little bit further from the busier areas.
The first thing that happened when we went down to the pool later that on our first morning was some other Brits made a beeline for us, telling us how awful it was, how the staff were rude, the food was dreadful and repetitive, and they hated it. Someone else overheard their comments and made a point of telling us about their experiences -- and fortunately we found we agreed with the second set of people!
Yes, it is outside the centre of Icmeler. But it is only a 10-15 minute walk to the resort centre, and once you're down the main hill the rest of the walk is very flat. The shuttle bus runs regularly if not frequently, but taxis can cost just 7- 8 TL, so if you don't want to walk back you just need to offer your price to the taxi driver before you get in.
Because the hotel is a little further out, it is very peaceful -- the backdrop to the hotel is beautiful and the only time we ever struggled to get a sun-lounger each was when other British people put towels out at nine in the morning and didn't come back to the pool until three!!
Food is simple and you need to accept that it will be Turkish, not British -- but there was always fresh bread, soup, lots of salad, and a choice of a few hot dishes with rice, pasta or chips/wedges. We liked the food but went out for dinner quite often as we look upon that as one of the pleasures of being on holiday.
Our room was large, comfortable and clean, if a little bit dated -- but still much better than some of the types of rooms you stay in in places like Greece. We didn't have to pay extra for air conditioning and we were told when we arrived that if there were any problems with the room, to let reception now and they'd fix it or move us, but we had no problems.
The staff were friendly and efficient. They clearly wanted to please and they made us feel welcome. We weren't looking for a hotel that offered entertainment, so perhaps families with teenagers would find they had little to do. Fussy eaters might not like the look of some of the dishes, which were often casseroles and stews (although we found them to be tasty!) and dessert was often mousse or simply fruit, which again we were quite happy with. The hotel does make special provision for disabled people, so there are sometimes a lot of people in wheelchairs around. This might be another reason why we never found the pool to be too busy -- a lot of the guests didn't really use the pool.
Icmeler is a nice little resort and we're glad we ended up there rather than Marmaris, (which seemed grubby and hectic in comparison) but if you want to go there, buses and taxis are around all the time and the bus only costs about 1.5 TL (only get on the orange and white ones though!). If you want to go somewhere where you can relax and please yourself, and if you're not afraid to find your own entertainment and haggle over taxis, don't be put off by negative reviews. My friend and I would happily go back.
