Club Candan

I had previously stayed here in 2023. However, highly disappointed second time. Pool area is amazing. But, had so many issues with a one bed apartment including air conditioning that did not work. The electricity kept cutting out. Rooms so hot we showered 4 times a night. Shower tap broke and was not fixed, forced to shower in the spa, the smell and leaks were unbelievable. Water leaks from the ceiling and cracked lift panel. Unfit to stay in

Modern Australian restaurant in Mount Eliza. Great food and atmosphete. Good for special occasions.

Just returned from 11 nights at club candan. We were quite hesitant before coming due to the mixed reviews about the hotel as we have stayed in another hotel which was great. One bit of advice, judge it for yourself. Yes there are probably a few negatives but they don’t outweigh the positives. The rooms were better than expected, very spacious, cleaned daily and new towels daily too. Yes you have to pay for toilet roll, TV and aircon but what else do you expect for self catering and a relatively cheap place to stay. The staff were polite, quick service. Special mention to Orlando who was one of the best member of staff there. So polite, great with kids and just couldn’t do enough for you. He has worked there for years and if we return, Hope he is still there when we do! A lovely kind man and an asset to the hotel. Curley at the barbers was very helpful and cut my friend’s 1 year olds hair. Knew how to handle him with toys to keep him occupied. Also cut our groups hair and had shaves which were spot on. So relaxing and good quality and very good prices! Deano, Dobby and Ali on your entertainment. Lots planned on a night time and some activities throughout the day. Very chilled throughout the day and not so full on which from experience can be annoying from previous hotels. They were very friendly and kind people that would make sure you were ok throughout your stay too. Ended up leaving with a matching tattoo with Deano, fair play to him for getting it! Fantastic people, funny, good chilled vibes, good entertainment for adults and kids!
