Meril Hotel

Unfortunately, this hotel doesn't even come close to the price/performance ratio offered by the many three-star all-inclusive beachfront hotels I've experienced before. Having to eat chicken every day, at every meal, was truly an unacceptable experience. The limited variety of food offered significantly negatively impacted our satisfaction with our stay. This dissatisfaction was clearly reflected in the hotel staff, who were understandably subjected to the same poor food; unfortunately, the unhappiness and lack of motivation among the employees also affected the guests. Overall, it was a lodging experience that fell considerably short of our expectations. The sea in Turunç was beautiful again, the hotel is really close to the sea.

The hotel and location were good, swimming pool nice, bar staff friendly. Now the bad points firstly the food was inedible hardly any options, owners sitting around the pool all day watching what is going on and get served with a beautiful burger while we all had to watch them eat it, absolutely disgusting when we were fed food that was not fit for a dog. This hotel is meant to be all inclusive but they closed the bar between 16.00 and 17.00 when most people have had enough of the sun and just want to sit and have a cold beer, no beer for 2 days no whisky for 2 days but the owner was sitting there with his whisky in front of all the guests. A lady we met asked for some milk and butter at lunchtime and was refused. No entertainment whatsoever and had to endure the worst music we have ever heard, when we asked the bar staff if they could put something else on we were told that the owners would not allow them to. On the day we were leaving our wrist bands were cut off at 12 noon even though we weren’t being picked up until 20.45. We were told we could eat the slop that they served every day and have soft drinks but no alcohol, I have never had this happen before. In our opinion this is a very poorly run hotel and I would avid it like the plague.
