Portakal

We loved our stay at the Portakal! What a fabulous hotel. The staff were absolutely great, so friendly and helpful. The location is lovely, it’s right by the river so a beautiful place to watch the boats. It’s an easy, flat walk to town. The pool, the bar, the breakfast/lunch area and our rooms were all really well maintained, very clean and comfortable. In summary, a lovely hotel, and brilliant staff. We really enjoyed our stay there and would love to return ASAP!

The Portakal hotel is very sweet, friendly hotel. Perfect for people who want a relaxing holiday, all the staff are lovely and work very hard to make sure you have a great time. The rooms & bathrooms are huge and have lots of storage and amenities. They have a small breakfast selection but all fresh and delicious, the snack bar is actually a full lunch menu including pizza and salads & grilled meats which is open 12-4pm. They also have a bar which is open all day & night that sells drinks & ice creams. The pool is huge & really nice. There is a 5 min walk down the road to lots of restaurants and shops some selling tourist stuff but also some with really nice local art etc. I would definitely go back to the Portakal I had a great time.

We have just returned from 10 wonderful days at the Portakal. We have stayed in many places in Dalyan over many years and this is our favourite. The atmosphere is very special. Methap and every single member of the team remember you by name, and you are greeted warmly daily with a genuine smile, nothing is too much trouble. The grounds and rooms are immaculate. The breakfast and food is fantastic. The team work very hard to ensure your stay is memorable. We met lots of friendly holiday makers that have returned year on year because they love it there. My mum has poor mobility and the ground floor and grounds were perfect for her. The town is a lovely 10 minute walk away or 250 lira in a taxi. The boat to the beach picks you up and drops you off right outside the hotel. We will look forward to seeing you all again when we return next year. Thank you so much for making our holiday special.
