Romantik Villa Dalla

We stayed at Romantic Dalla Villa for ten days with my family. The place is quiet and peaceful. The family villa we stayed in had eveything we looked for including an oven, frldge and washing machine. There is a nice pool that you can enjoy. But the most important thing that made our trip unforgettable was Mr. ilyas who took wonderful care of us. We are definitely going back next summer. I recommend this place highly.

When we arrived it was raining and the property did not look it’s best, but the staff were courteous and helpful. That’s the good bit. Our room was dated and not very well presented. My wife went to the bathroom and large faeces were in the toilet, she had to pull the chain before she could use it. It was revolting. She then went to wash her hands and toothpaste spittle and and hairs were stuck around the sink. It was disgusting. We asked for the bathroom to be cleaned. We should have left straightaway but was afraid of finding another hotel. So, we went and found another hotel in Gocek, came back and got our belongings. Because we had booked in advance we were asked to pay, which we did as we are pensioners and didn’t want to spoil our holiday. It was an awful experience. Can never recommend this hotel.

My wife and I have been staying here at the start and end of our Turkish holidays for several years now. This year we are staying for 2 days at the start and 3 days at the end. I cannot believe some of the negative comments I have just read and wish to put on record our findings. We love the seclusion, the back to nature the non intrusive way it is run,plus the views from the upper rooms or Sky Bar. The staff have always been totally professional, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is served in a beautiful semi open space, next to the pommegramate orchard and by the pool and has everything you would expect for a Turkish breakfast. No need to eat again until the evening really. There are numerous outdoor spaces to relax, read or snooze or enjoy a swim. Our room has two balconies with sunloungers and great views. Yes, there are a number of dogs, but that adds to our enjoyment watching their antics ( Luna and Daisy in particular ). They are very friendly indeed. It is a shame that so many people just use it as an overnight stop, they should stay longer to understand it. We love to go to Sarsala Beach ( away from the tourists) where you really feel in Turkey. Sarigerme is nearby. Cinar Restaurant will collect you for dinner and bring you back, or go into Dalaman and try the local restaurants/Kebab houses, where you can also practice your Turkish.
