Villa Sun Apart

To be fair we didn’t use the facilities or eat at on the premises as preferred the beach and eating out in the evenings However, we can comment on the apartment which was sadly disappointing. It was on the 3rd floor with no lift which, after a long day out then out again for the evening in 40 plus degrees is tiresome. The apartment was very dated, shabby, the absolute minimum amount of utensils/crockery and not even a dustpan and brush to keep things tidy. Above all it was very very very small and there was no tv which personally I like to have and it was advertised. The sheets and towels were clean but had seen better days. I think we drew the short straw as other apartments did appear larger when we passed them. Management were friendly and helpful which does help but we had to go on a bit a budget holiday this year and big dud we notice the difference

I stayed here a while ago was not this year but could not leave earlier date . I was a solo female traveller the apartments themselves are very nice yes has tv but only one english channel which shows the same things over and over . Now this is a self catering hotel only the owner is not happy if you don't eat at hotel restaurant . I was a female solo traveller it was more that I did not feel comfortable eating in the restaurant alone so I chose to eat in instead as we all know it is actually cheaper to eat out then in but I was shy and trying to settle in and the one time I did eat there I wasn't overly impressed by the food nor the conversation and I witnessed a member of staff having argument on phone and then run and get on the back of someone's motorbike with a huge knife never been so scared in my life! Me eating in seemed to bother them anyway as they took my cooking hob away said it was for servicing and that everyone's had been taken spoke to other guests and guess what nope just mine was taken ! My room was not cleaned I had to take the cleaning lady's broom left in hallway and do it myself did not get clean sheets or towels after they realised I was not eating or drinking in hotel restaurant . Each time I went out I was hassled by staff as to where I was going and why I wasn't eating and drinking in restaurant now I've been coming to marmaris for 11 years with family never experienced this and sadly put me off coming alone . Terrible hotel I wouldn't stay with my family here the manager cares only for money 1st day I arrived he told me the hotel room price is cheap and doesn't pay the bills the restaurant /bar does and showed me pics of hes children to guilt me into eating/drinking there just made me feel more uncomfortable and that was on my first day! I just wanted to come home after that please don't go there it's Miles away from everything and has a tiny pool which I didn't even bother to use I went elsewhere so I wasn't hassled. Much better places that allow you to enjoy you're holiday and don't take you're cooking equipment away when it's self catering!!!

Can't knock it at all, price excellent, Accom excellent, we were half board breakfast excellent Eveining meal excellent. Bar great no complaints, swimming pool great, we spent all of our time at the beach 15 minute walk. Entertainment very good always something different, staff more than helpful at all times, I would defo go back again.
