Just returned from a very nice weeks holiday at the Grove hotel, we 2 older couples were a little doubtful after reading some of the reviews on this page, all I can honestly say is that our doubts were unfounded, Oh there are small problems the rooms are a little tired, the staff are not very quick at clearing a little rubbish away, but on the whole we found it great for us, the hotel is only 2 mins walk away from the center of everything, the Maid came in every day to clean, and change towels, although they do need new ones as some were thin. The breakfast was Turkish, but quite nice and plentiful, if you needed an English breakfast best bet to go 2 mins down road where for 2. 50 pounds you can get a super size English. The staff in reception, as well as the cleaner speak some English, the rooms are nice although in need of updating but no problem for us, air conditioning was on, as well as internet, at no extra charge, We had a good time, the garden does need a gardiner to sort it out but we paid 40 pounds a week each, and had a bargain at this price.

We have just arrived back in the UK from having spent one week at the Grove Hotel with a friend. The hotel was booked on a recommendation from a family member who had stayed several years ago. After booking my friend read some of the reviews and we seriously considered cancelling our reservation and staying elsewhere however in our opinion it really wasn’t as bad as some of the reviews especially considering considering we paid £10 p.p.n. and this included breakfast. We arrived at the hotel at midnight, our check in went smoothly however must agree with the comments that the man on the desk at night does not have good English. He showed us to our rooms and carried our luggage, our room was basic but clean, nice shower with plenty of hot water, clean sheets, towels and toilet roll were all provided and replenished during our stay. Breakfast was a typical Turkish breakfast, bread, boiled eggs, salad, jam, cheese and fruit. There was also a drink machine for hot drinks however, no fruit juice. The pool was large with plenty of sun beds available and was cleaned at the end of the day. We did lots of day trips and only used the hotel as a base, the location was perfect for this as it was just a short walk downhill to the resort which has a good selection of restaurants and shops. The bus stop is skis at the bottom of the hill and there’s a very frequent service to Olu Deniz and Fethiye. Recommend the 12 Islands boat cruise and a visit to a beach club on the Olu Denuz Blue Lagoon, we went to Seahorse however, we were advised Billy’s Beach was also very popular and if you contact them they arrange free hotel shuttles. Entry was 25 p.p. and this included a subbed and parasol so was excellent value. This was our first visit to this area and will not be our last.....
