SINASOS CAVE HOTEL

We stayed in this hotel just because they have a good deal with balloon tour so we booked it months ago, rooms are nice and clean however the shower doesn't have much pressure. Because of the cave ceiling you will end up with wake up with sands all over. We were 4 of us in total, they told us the bus for balloon tour will come to pick us up 5 o'clock in the morning l. We were all ready waiting by the door at 5 am. The guy from balloon company came and told us he can just take 2 of us. We told him we paid and had a reservation for 4, he said no. He talk with the guy in reception and told us if we have a car we can fallow them but he can't guarantee that we will all take the tour!! We've waiting and calling the hotel asking who do we need to talk and why he didn't made reservations he was so calm down and telling me everything will be ok. Not because of the hotel but a guy who is working in balloon company let us all get in just because i am Turkish and originally from Cappadocia! Another problem was when we were doing the check out. Because we booked the hotel on January the exchange rate EURO/TL was 2.93 as same as when we stay yes it was really going up and downs between but same on January and May by chance. the owner was telling us the rate was EURO/TL was 3.50 so we have to calculate from this rate!!! Once again thanks god i was Turkish so i made him check online from government central bank for January and we paid from 2.93!! So be careful they are trying to rip you off, i am sure they book just 2 person for the balloon not 4 and that is how they gave you good deals. So think again!!

Knowing there are tons of these cave hotels in the Cappadocia region, it was nice we landed with this one. It is a legitimate cave area, no fakes, and the service is amazing! The guys that run it helped us with directions and making reservations to nearby activities. The breakfast they put out is the traditional turkish breakfast. VERY CLEAN place, always important! We made friends with the owners, we are definitely revisiting should we find ourselves in Cappadocia!

Located at the center of ancient Sinassos, nowdays called Mustafapasa, this 8 room hotel run by a family from Urgup, offers cave rooms simply furnished but adequate. The village offer also a minibus connection to Urgup and Goreme during the day. Several restaurants in the village Elenis is in the centre and is nice to watch the world goes by with a glass of wine or raki...
