Melis Hotel

The property is beautiful, but the experience was subpar. They got our room type wrong and claimed to have no other options available, even though the hotel was clearly not full. We stayed 3 nights and Housekeeping never cleaned our room. We found where the towels and toilet paper were stored and helped ourselves. Office staff seem to be a crew of young men who were either not around or completely indifferent to guests. Breakfast was average. The floor of our bathroom was flooded every time we showered, no matter how hard we tried to angle the showerheads toward the wall. No shower gel or shampoo in the dispensers and only miniscule bars of cheap soap and body lotion provided. Multiple lightbulbs out in our room. I reported all these issues at checkout and was met with a blank stare.

The hotel looks good, the pools are clean, and the garden is very well-kept. The room upon our arrival was not perfectly clean (I found some things on the floor) but when it was made up, it was perfect. The staff was always very helpful, even from the first contacts via email. Good breakfast but little choice. The location is on the main street, a 10-minute walk from the square.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. Good breakfast. Location a few minutes' walk from the center. The pool area is very beautiful, one for children and another forbidden to those under 14 years old, very relaxing and the surrounding greenery is very well-kept.
