Hotel Grand Eregli

The hotel has a central location and offered a private car parking area. The rooms are clean, spacious, and having sea views. The restaurant at the 6th floor has a perfect panoramic view of Eregli which is the combination of the forest and sea. I especially like the service in the reception. Eregli is not a touristic town but a nice town with a large port. Eregli is one of the main centers of steel-iron production in Turkey. The municipality developed some nice coastal green parks and promenades as well as restaurant and cafes at the sea side. If you like natural beauties and calm environment, you must visit to Eregli. In addition to its calm environment, daily activities of Eregli are inexpensive.

I have stayed in this hotel for 4 days,having some business in the local shipyard. First of all you have to carry the luggage on a stair to the first floor,where is the elevator. Than you can't find very easy somebody speaking english.We were lucky to have a local agent to solve our problems.The rooms are not very large,but clean.The hotel is only 10 minutes walking from the sea front restaurants.Breakfast is not very rich by western standards,but the cheese is ok and there are 5-6 sorts.Most of the rooms are smoking rooms

Run like a battleship, the Commander (sorry, the Manager), does not believe his staff need to speak English ... "foreigners should bring translators with them", and he has no problem shouting at his cleaning ladies in front of guests. Before you get to the Reception, you have to get through the locked front doors and pass a grilling from a bunch of hoods. I would not stay here even if it was the only hotel in town.
