Al Jawhara Gardens Hotel

It can not be categorized as a 4 star hotel, no hygiene standard, even front desk attitude is not professional

I visited your hotel on the 27th at around 4:00 PM to meet the Procurement Manager. Upon entering the hotel, I approached the Front Desk Manager, an Indian gentleman wearing a blue blazer, and asked where the purchasing office was located. He informed me that it was on the first floor. I proceeded directly to the first floor; however, I could not locate the office as there was no signage—only guest rooms or suites. I hesitated to open any doors since I was unsure which one was the office. I then returned to the ground floor and approached him again for clarification. In front of other hotel staff, he responded sarcastically, saying: “First floor is the office! Of course, you need to open the door. You need to open it! Hello…” I was shocked by his attitude, as I expected a higher level of professionalism, especially from someone in a managerial position within the hospitality industry. I felt humiliated and bullied in front of the hotel staff, who were clearly his subordinates. I hope that management can address this matter and ensure that staff members demonstrate proper professionalism and courtesy. I have visited many hotels where the staff were respectful and professional; unfortunately, this visit was a very unpleasant experience.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 days. The staff were kind but the room they gave us had a dirty floor which was due to the carpet or rug that needed to be changed and I think they don't check the room before handing it over because there was no fridge and the mini bar was not charged at all and the toiletries were only charged for one person and after finding out there were two of us they charged for two people after two days. Cleaning is done daily and the breakfast was varied but repetitive. Although the room supervision was weak but overall I recommend this hotel
