Marriott Executive Apartments Dubai Creek

Absolutely the worst experience ever. We decided to celebrate my friend's birthday here, but the staff refused to let us in and completely ruined our night. They lied right to our faces, claiming they were already at "10+ people capacity," even though we could clearly see there were only 6 people inside the room.I will never forget how poorly we were treated, especially by the short Indian guy working there. His behavior was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. They are dishonest, disrespectful, and do not care about their customers. Avoid this place at all costs. Highly NOT recommended

We stayed at Marriott Executive Apartments Dubai Creek for one night while in transit to Portugal, and its location, just a few kilometres from Dubai International Airport, made it the perfect choice. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I always try to stay within the Marriott group whenever possible. Since we were five adults travelling together and only needed a comfortable place to rest before our next flight, we were looking for a spacious apartment—and this property exceeded our expectations. The apartment was fantastic, featuring two large bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, generous dining and living areas, incredibly comfortable beds and pillows, and beautiful views. It was the perfect place to relax after a long journey. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you to Nikel at reception, who made us feel genuinely welcome and went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed. Unfortunately, the dining experience did not match the high standard of the accommodation. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and ordered the beef tenderloin. When it arrived, the presentation alone was disappointing—four very thin slices of dark brown meat that looked nothing like a medium-rare tenderloin. We even considered sending it back, but as it was late and we had no other dining options, we ended up eating it. Sadly, the meat did not taste fresh either. Breakfast the following morning was also underwhelming. The selection was quite limited, and the overall quality was below what I would expect from a Marriott property. The apartments and the service deserve high praise, but the food offering lets the hotel down. I genuinely hope the management invests in improving the restaurant and breakfast experience. Guests would happily pay a little more in exchange for food that reflects the same quality and standard as the accommodation. With that improvement, this hotel would be an outstanding choice for both short stays and longer visits.

Overall, I did not like this hotel at all, and it certainly did not meet my expectations. As a guest staying at a five-star Marriott property, I expected a high level of service, comfort, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in almost every aspect. The room was disappointing, the view did not meet our expectations, and the television and in-room facilities felt outdated for a hotel of this category. We also requested a better sea-view room, and despite the hotel not appearing to be fully occupied, our request was not accommodated. The service overall lacked the warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism that guests would expect from a luxury Marriott property. While Anjali at the reception desk asked the manager for the upgrade courteous, and genuinely helpful, her efforts alone could not compensate for the overall shortcomings of the hotel. For a hotel carrying the Marriott name and five-star rating, the experience was surprisingly underwhelming. It did not meet the expectations set by the brand, and our stay left us disappointed. I would not choose to stay here again and cannot recommend it to travelers looking for a true five-star experience.
