Richmond Hotel Apartments

Richmond hotel apartments good for its location near Bur Dubai most business development area in Dubai. Most of shopping outlets are on walking distance. Hotel has a very good entrance with good reception staff. Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. A open swimming pool is on the top of the hotel. I enjoyed there in the swimming pool more than one hour. Breakfast was also very good.

As soon as I arrived I was greeted by the Pakistani guy working on the night shift in the reception area. He arranged my room and when we went there the smell of tobacco and god knows what else just made my head spin. I asked him that I wanted to move to another room but I was fobbed off. He said there was no rooms available but there would be tomorrow morning. He told me that he would personally sort the room out and not to worry. I accepted. Next day, the same thing happened when I asked him he gave exactly the same excuse that no room was available and that he would try the next day. Me and my friend became unhappy and had a semi argument with him, once I said that I would complain to the Manager, he changed his tune and offered me an alternative room. This guy was a joke, full of excuses and false promises. The new room we had was better than the initial one but overall still shocking. Side Bed lamp broken, faulty washing machine and the carpet which had many stains on it. Even the TV channels were not working properly. This was truly a shocking experience from start to finish. It was my fault for not doing enough research on the hotel and going with something cheap.

I got this Hotel as cheap as 85$ per night , it is near Metro , centralized between Mankhool road and Kuwaiti road Food not high quality , room spacious , level of noise is acceptable . A swimming pool on the roof.
