I stayed at Golden Tulip Sharjah for one week, and overall it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The location of the hotel is definitely one of its strongest points. It is situated right across from the lake, and with just a short walk you can reach the surrounding parks and walking areas, which become especially beautiful and lively at night.
The atmosphere around the hotel was also excellent — plenty of restaurants, cafés, and local life around the area made it feel very pleasant and active.
The hotel itself is somewhat old, but fortunately it does not feel heavily worn out or neglected. That said, you should not expect a modern luxury hotel experience. In my opinion, the bathroom and shower areas could definitely benefit from renovation.
The room and bathroom were clean, spacious, and offered a very nice view of both the city and the lake.
The breakfast was good and had a nice variety of options. Lunch and dinner were more Indian-focused in terms of cuisine, and the variety was somewhat more limited compared to breakfast, but still acceptable. Meals were served buffet-style and included salads and desserts as well.
The hotel also offers free access to the gym and swimming pool, which was a nice addition.
Overall, I would describe this hotel as a solid and acceptable option. However, if you are specifically looking for a newly built or very modern hotel, I would recommend exploring newer alternatives as well.
