Carnoustie Golf Hotel Spa

My family and 1 went to have a lovely late lunch in the bar area. Food was very expensive, but I thought, why not! I ordered a sharing platter, it was very average quality, and 2 things were missed, which I had to ask for. We all ordered triple cooked chips, and we weren't impressed, under cooked. My avacado wasn't ripe. We did show our concern and got a fresh bowl of chips!! We will think twice before going back as it was very expensive! I felt because there was a wedding going on, our order didn't recieve the attention as it should've done!. And the prices from the menu do not match the quality or quantity of the food.

Stayed at the hotel with my brothers and sisters for my twin brothers 60th birthday. Had such a great time lots of laughs great food and such lovely staff. Big shout out to Craig the duty manager who was excellent, went above and beyond making our stay really special. Loved how he has a sausage dog when we had Sid the Sausage dog as a birthday cake! Food was really delicious so compliments to the chefs, waiters and waitresses were all great and were very professional but also had good banter when we encouraged it (we do like a bit banter!!) so Gurpreet was perfect for us 😂 We loved the hotel, the leisure facilities, the outdoor sitting area as it was sunny in Scotland - shock!! Rooms were lovely and housekeeping perfect. Will definitely be back! Thank you Carnoustie Golf Hotel 😀

We were disappointed in the rooms since they had not been upgraded . The price did not reflect our expectations for a hotel that is held in such high esteem.
