An abysmal experience. Entered the coffee lounge. A few tables taken and others empty. No visible staff anywhere, stood 5 to 10 mins still no staff. Then decided to take a table, waited another 10 mins. Another customer returning from the toilet told us we would get served soon! A girl server appears says someone else was meant to have taken our order, she writes down our order, then disappears , wait 15 mins then go, 30 mins plus wasted, its as if local businesses dont want custom, we wont be back

Had a most enjoyable stay, the staff went above and beyond. The room we had was huge, the food in the restaurant was amazing and the breakfast was great. Would certainly recommend this hotel

We stayed at The Links Hotel for 4 days in July, attending our goddaughter’s wedding. What a lovely hotel! We had a really nice room in the annexe, a super king bed and walk in shower as requested. Parking was easy, the staff were so nice and helpful, and mention must be made of Helen on reception and Alan (the manager?) who went above and beyond by helping us with directions and sorting out any little issues we had. The food was fabulous, we had the most delicious evening meals and breakfasts and we cannot speak highly enough of this little gem - should we return to this area, we will definitely stay here again.
