This hotel has fantastic front-desk service and a great location near Grand Central Station and the city. Check-in was warm, check-out was fast, and the reception team quickly reallocated our room when asked. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was highly disappointing. We were mistakenly assigned an unrequested accessibility room at check-in. The room itself suffered from temperamental air conditioning, a faulty hairdryer, and stained linens. Housekeeping even took our room key with them after servicing and failed to change towels. The restaurant and bar service was unacceptable. Staff were slow and rude over the weekend, leaving tables uncleared and the bar seating worn and dirty. The breakfast area was a congested mess; we constantly waited for basic items like plates, glasses and eggs, and food spills on the floor were ignored by staff, posing a safety hazard. Great potential due to the staff at reception, but the hygiene and hospitality standards elsewhere are severely lacking.

Biggest DISASTER for the night before my wedding day!!!! Booked a room for me to stay with my bridesmaids to get prepared for my wedding day. At night time, all of the socket/plugs stop working - we cannot charge phones, cannot iron my dress, cannot steam my veil, cannot dry my hair. Staff was trying his best to check and sort out, no luck. Despite the fact my friends trying to communicate OVER and OVER AGAIN - PLESASE JUST GIVE US ANOTHER ROMM?? Nope, they mercifully opened the other room for us for 2 HOURS!!! To allow us to charge phones and prep. At this point it was 2AM in the morning. I have to try to go to sleep while my friends stay up to do the prep work in another room, then coming back at 3AM, of course, I can get no sleep at this time. And yes, on my wedding day, I had around 3-4 hours sleep ENTIRELY BECUASE CLAYTON F'ed UP. Next morning I have politely asked for any compensation, no response yet so I am taking this further. (I was staying another night with my husband and they didn't even offer me any upgrades or a free night - The first thing I talk to them in the morning is that they already know the incidence, so why has nothing done to at least giving me any gesture of goods?) I can never re-do my wedding day so thank you Clayton for giving me the biggest DISASTER EVER. PS the morning after I was looking for the manager to check again for the compensation, the reception lady - not a single apologise, not a word, not a smile - handed me the name card and barely looked up from her computer. Great Professional Service :))

Perfect location for the centre Staff extremely polite and helpful especially the receptionist who allowed an early check in as the room was ready, thank you Very comfortable bed However, the cleaning wasn’t great There was no body wash in the container, even though we raised this, it wasn’t replaced. The bed was made like a child had done it It was better once raised The cups were left unwashed Nothing on the tray had been replenished We had to ask for toilet paper Room just needs a good uplift We paid extra for a 4star hotel Breakfast, good variety , not great quality Evening menu was excellent We enjoyed Belfast
