We visited The Old Inn in Crawfordsburn on 2 October 2026 as a party of five to celebrate my Mum’s 93rd birthday with afternoon tea, and what a wonderful experience it was! From the moment we arrived, the setting was warm, welcoming and inviting. The staff were absolutely wonderful — attentive, friendly and incredibly thoughtful, with amazing attention to detail throughout our visit. The afternoon tea itself was delicious and plentiful, with everything beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed by us all. All in all, it was a fantastic experience and a very special way to celebrate such an important birthday. We would highly recommend The Old Inn to anyone looking for a lovely afternoon tea and exceptional service. Thank you to all the staff for helping make Mum’s 93rd birthday so memorable. ❤️ We will definitely be back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What can I say! From the moment we walked in, the reception staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. They talked us through everything and made sure we knew exactly what to expect from our spa day. We had a wonderful time relaxing in the jacuzzi, pool, steam room and sauna. Everything was absolutely spotless, and the relaxation room was just beautiful, especially with the fabulous heated wood burner — the perfect place to unwind. And then came the best part… our treatments! 🥰 I had one of the best back massages I’ve ever had. Josie was a wonder woman! She knew exactly what my back needed and made the whole experience absolutely incredible. I left feeling so relaxed and refreshed. My mum had the pleasure of having Katie, who gave her a facial and back massage. It was honestly the best experience for my mum. She came out feeling completely refreshed and like a new woman! ❤️ We will definitely be making The Old Inn Crawfordsburn our go-to place for spa days. The staff are amazing, the facilities are beautiful, and the whole experience was just perfect from start to finish. You have an incredible team and should be so proud of every single one of them. We can’t wait to come back! ❤️

main and a small drink from a selection..(although I think low alcohol beer is not included in the deal and we may have been charged extra for it) we chose pumpkin tagliatelle and fish and chips. food was average and portions quite small for the price. The vegetarian choice is Limited although the friendly and helpful waiter did bring a vegetarian menu which had some options such as a mushroom with cheese and avocado in a brioche bun with chips for £22.00. The vegetarian options did not really offer a balanced main course with any protein except a bit of cheese on one option . Also for an allegedly upmarket place I'd expect a nice salt and black pepper dispenser with decent salt not the tired looking ones at the table which appeared to have regular salt in the salt grinder. I also found the bill was presented in a way that was hard to scan quickly and check as each item had its VAT shown separately so therefore not easy to compare to menu prices.
