We’ve had the best time at Port Charlotte Hotel, making Islay a very happy memory. Thank you to all the staff, including Lorna, Aurora, Ajith, Marianne, & Kenny, who all made us feel very welcome. We swam in the mornings in the beautiful small beach at the back, looked out over the striking lighthouse, ate wonderful meals (thank you chef!) - excellent breakfasts and dinners, and also enjoyed music night in the bar on one evening. Thank you - after long days exploring Islay, we were happy returning to your home each evening.

The staff are absolutely amazing! The chips - the best we have had on our Ireland Scotland trip The scallops appetizer is scrumptious! The Posh Fish n Chips … sea bass, Salmon and Haddock. I loved the sea bass and my husband loved the salmon. Did I mention the chips - OH my goodness- yummy and definitely made from scratch.
