The Cuilfail Hotel

Stopped for a pint. Glad we did, probably the best pint of Guinness I've had outside of Ireland. Lovely old bar with lots of character, barman good for a yarn, ask about the bell! We didn't stay but spoke with anglers staying and they said it was very good.

We had an excellent meal at the Cuilfail. I had one of the best meals, steak pie, I’ve ever had eating out anywhere. All our family had great food and drinks all served by the landlady who is a gem, so friendly and attentive. The place is old and quirky but real ! If you get a chance go to this pub/hotel, have food or stay. The hill Road across from pub over to Dalavich and Avich falls is a great reason to go to the Cuilfail alone it’s amazing!

We were staying nearby and booked for dinner. It's recommended you book if you want to bring your dogs. Quirky little bar with a log burner making it very cosy. A lovely lady with long curly hair waited on us, and took our orders etc. There wasn't a long wait for our food as it wasn't that busy. Food was delicious 😋 I would definitely go back for food. Can't comment on the rest of the hotel though
