Woodland Manor Hotel

It’s hard to know where to begin with this review. From the moment we enquired with Woodland Manor we received quick responses from Frankie and this continued for the 11 months we were planning. The venue is stunning - the outside space is beautiful and we chose to have our day outside in the sunshine. The venue looked beautiful on the day and had been set up exactly as requested. The rooms are beautiful all of our guests had a great stay and commented how nice the rooms were and how well they slept. Each room is slightly different so it doesn’t feel like a hotel and more like a large Manor House we used for the weekend. The food was great. The chefs were completely flexible and allowed us to tweak the menu to suit what we envisaged and we also went for a flexible drinks package allowing us to purchase what we knew our guests would drink and plenty of it! I also hosted a bridal party afternoon tea in the build up to our wedding and I would be surprised if there is a better afternoon tea in all of Bedfordshire. The food was perfection with all dietary requirements catered for. We had some complex allergies within our guests and everything was fine and there were no issues at all. Finally the biggest thank you has to go to the staff. I’ve already mentioned Frankie but I must also mention how on the day she went above and beyond. She ensured that as the bride and groom we didn’t need to worry about a thing and made sure we got some time to ourselves and were topped up and fed all day. In regards to the rest of the team - all of the times we were in the hotel before and during the wedding every single member of the team from reception to food and beverage to housekeeping was exceptional. The feeling we and all our guests left with was that they couldn’t do enough for us. My husband and I met working at a wedding venue and this has to be the best team we’ve ever come across. The owner is hands on and working alongside and you can see what a wonderful culture he’s built by the team he has. Thank you all so much for everything. You really gave us the perfect day. It was a Beautiful place to stay.the staff are very friendly room was very spacious, And yes we would stay again

We had our daughter’s wedding last weekend and all I’ve got to say is was brilliant. The staff the food the venue the grounds the rooms all lovely and the staff couldn’t do anything more it was perfect
