Stockwood Hotel

Do not stay in this hotel all my stuff was stolen out of the room the main door code is the same as your room door which means anyone can get into your room

Been off the road for a while but had to do an urgent trip. Couldn’t do the drive in one go so stopped at Luton to break up the journey. Hotel was accommodating, clean and friendly. This time I met some other guests staying who were really pleasant to talk with. Made a difficult journey much easier and was cheaper booking direct rather than booking dot com.

I have been using this hotel for over two years due to my commute & working locally. It is located around 10 minutes walk from the town centre on the London road as well as 10 minutes from the M1 motorway. Equally the airport is around 15 minutes maximum depending on traffic. Two national rail stations are also accessible within 15 minutes walking time. A reasonably quiet area although well equipped with local shops & a petrol station across the road The hotel itself is run by a young couple who are very pleasant to deal with & as a family business. It is kept very clean, euipped with coded locks which are personaliseeld to the customer for the duration of the stay. A quiet hotel with only 22 rooms & primarily uses by commuters who work in the Luton & Dunstable area Although they no longer provide catering post the pandemic there are plenty of places around & the breakfast room is equipped with a microwave & small fridge. The photos attached will give you some idea of the high quality of the property.
