Booked a family room with wife and 30yr old daughter for just the one night (Thurs 24th) - no problem and lovely room overlooking the river😊. Excellent shower, beds the size of a tennis court - very comfortable. A really delicious breakfast and endless very good coffee on tap!! Check out at 11 have lots of useful time, and free parking👍 We always use The Embankment, and would recommend five star value, cheerful efficient staff (thank you Connor at Reception and Sophie at breakfast!) and just a lovely experience. Giles, Christiana & Charlotte😊😊😊

Went for a meal with friends and was embarrassed by the food - the staff were very nice and drinks great but I’ve never had such a bad steak - I had to leave half of it as it was tough and gristle and sinew thro it - 4 of us had steak and all were bad - again in fairness the starters were fine.
