Elizabeth House Hotel

Very helpful staff who went the extra mile for us, helping us store our luggage for a few days while we toured before our cruise. We also had a great breakfast and the rooms were very comfortable. Excellent value for money. Very happy with our stay, thank you!

The staff are friendly enough and the food was ok. Looks lovely from the outside anbd the decor inside was nice. Our room was awful. It was very dingy and desperate in need of an upgrade. We had a family room - double bed with a single bed and a put you up bed as we was a family of 4 (grandparents with 2 small grandchildren). I couldn’t sleep in the double bed as one side tilted down my side so I had to sleep in the single bed with both my grandchildren sharing the put you up. The chair where you sit to dry your hair was so wobbly I had to dry my hair standing up. It cost us £275 for 2 nights stay as we were visiting Peppa Pig World. Really not worth half of this so would never return.

It's a guesthouse not a hotel properly Mould and Damp make me sick and they trying to take it out of my security deposit. Deposit was not placed in a protection scheme. I'm reporting it to local Council, hopefully no one else gets scammed!!
