A special mention goes to Aslan, who assisted us with check-in. He was extremely helpful, answered all our questions about the hotel, and made thoughtful arrangements to ensure our stay was as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The Management team were equally exceptional. Marcus and Catejan went above and beyond to provide outstanding service throughout our visit. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine care for guests really stood out and made our dining experience memorable. At breakfast, Jess and Odeila were fantastic. Their attention to detail, friendly approach, and welcoming smiles each morning made for a great start to the day. The spa, as always, was an absolute delight and one of the highlights of our stay. It remains a wonderful place to relax and unwind, and we thoroughly enjoyed every visit. The only drawback was seeing a lady, who I assumed was part of the management team, walking around the premises with a dog, particularly in the dining area. Personally, I found this unhygienic and not quite in keeping with the standards I would expect from the hotel. That said, Marcus and Catejan took the time to speak with me regarding the matter and were genuinely apologetic, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would certainly consider returning in the future, provided this situation does not reoccur. Thank you to the team for another enjoyable visit. We look forward to coming back and enjoying the spa again soon.

Avoid! This once clearly lovely hotel is in bad repair and filthy. The spa is gross, with thick layers of dust and dead flies around the pool. The carpets throughout the hotel haven’t been vacuumed. The rooms are bad, sloppily maintained with slapdash layers of paint - clearly not been properly dealt with in decades. There was a pile of discarded furniture and laundry racks stacked outside our room. There wasn’t even a bar of soap in our bathroom. There were about three members of staff running the hotel. One at the reception, one in the spa and one in the restaurant. The receptionist was lovely and helpful as they could be. They said ‘if you want to find somewhere else, you can go. I can give you a refund.’ They seemed to be completely aware of the state of the hotel and must get complaints alot- we witnessed two other residents complain about cleanliness and service within 30 mins of us. Overall, we stayed less than an hour… To be honest, the whole thing felt like some sort of scam. The place is being run into the ground

This has got to be the worst hotel I've ever been to (we didn't stay). Horribly dated room, bare electrics, pealing off wall paper, falling off curtains, broken tiles, tv didn't work, broken 'hair drier' and the toilet dripped constantly. When we complained the staff really didn't care, said they were full and we could have a refund and leave - so we did. Not the ideal anniversary night we were hoping for. This hotel is not 4* - it's not even one star. In the short time we were there others were also complaining and asking for refunds. I don't how they get away with charging c£140 p/n and claiming they are 4 star - I think we'll be onto the advertising standards authority next! Note: we were in the older part of the hotel - the rooms heading to the spa may be better - hence this mixed reviews, but I'd suggest not chancing it!
