The Crown

Enjoyed a really excellent pub lunch today at the Crown. We had both meat-based and vegetarian sandwiches, all equally tasty and substantial - very generous portions and high quality ingredients. The young staff were very friendly and efficient. The seating is very comfortable and everything is sparkling clean. And our dog enjoyed herself too! We couldn't recommend the Crown too highly.

Stayed here on a B&B basis for 5 nights and ate dinner here twice. Accommodation was clean and well presented. No body wash provided but there was soap, shampoo and conditioner. Was a hospitality tray. Real bonus to have parking for residents guests. Staff friendly and welcoming. Breakfast menu extensive and all 5 options I tried were excellent. Their decaf coffee was very good - it’s so hard to get this normally so a real bonus for me. Dinner menu choices very good too and both meals of a very high standard - better than I’ve had at top end restaurants. Can highly recommend the homemade steak pie with lots of tender meat as well as the pork duo. Both served with lots of perfectly cooked vegetables. Happy to recommend The Crown and we’ve already booked to stay again when next visiting family in Windsor

Fantastic Sunday lunch, great selection and loads of vegetables, which I love can't beat a roast with loads of veg. There was a large group of us and the staff looked after us so well. Every order was right and we were served so quickly. Really enjoyed the food, hot and fresh
