This is a meeting point for occasional family gatherings, so we’ve been here a few times before. The restaurant setting is lovely, and staff are friendly. The issue this time for all of our party was portion size, with my wife exclaiming that she didn’t know I’d ordered a starter when my main course arrived. For the prices we didn’t feel we’d had value, and although the food was tasty, it wasn’t long before we were hungry again. Disappointing and not sure we’ll return.

Worst Hotel Stay Ever I stayed in this hotel towards the end of last year and had reported that somebody had been in my room whilst I was at the bar/restaurant… when I reported this to the owners of the hotel - I was threatened and told to leave.

Excellent food with a very acceptable choice of dishes. We had the pie of the day and the chicken snitzel. Ambiance of the restaurant was brilliant. The public bar was supplying a good selection of beers. The waitress Scarlet and bar staff, Eve were very pleasant and helpful. We will return!
