We arrived in Reading and were really pleased to be located so centrally at Malmaison. The hotel check in experience was excellent and we were delighted with our room and amenities. Had a quick drink in the bar prior to dining and the service, drinks and ambience were beautifully curated. We were booked into the Brasserie restaurant and dined from the à la carte menu. Decided to take myself outside of my comfort zone and chose the roasted peaches, buffalo mozzarella with green beans and toasted almonds as a starter as sounded innovative, however I was unsure if the flavours combinations would work. I wasn’t disappointed as this dish absolutely blew me away. The other dishes were excellent too so would definitely recommend dining here if you enjoy modern menu innovations well executed. Service was excellent throughout the evening especially Yvette who looked after us really well and was extremely professional and warm. 10/10 all round!! 😁
