A mile or so outside the city centre, this is a decent budget hotel with friendly staff, large rooms and ample parking (but served by regular buses if you don't have a car). There are fridges and microwaves in the rooms but no A/C which might be an issue when it gets warm outside. No comfortable chair in my room, despite it being a large room. Clean room and comfortable bed. Would happily stay there again.

I stayed at the hotel recently, and while the staff were absolutely impeccable—so friendly and accommodating—they did let me bring a portable air conditioning unit since the room was extremely humid with no AC. There was just a wall fan, but it wasn’t enough. The cleanliness also let it down—there were marks on the towels and an fake eyelash on the floor. I do understand the building is a bit run-down, but for the price, I think you can get something like a Premier Inn with AC and a bit more comfort. That said, the staff were really outstanding, and I hope these points help the hotel improve overall.

Good value budget hotel with fridge and microwave in the room. Staff were very helpful and the free car parking is a bonus. No air con so warm in the summer but there was a wall mounted fan in the room. Didn't try the breakfast as we were leaving early but the staff were not pushy. Would stay again - the three of us had plenty of space.
