STOKE PLACE HOTEL

We booked 2 rooms to stay as we attending a friends wedding at the venue. The rooms were not suitable for my disabled child. Despite raising concerns immediately the hotel did nothing to resolve and subseqently we were left without a place to stay that night. The hotel have since refused to issue a refund so have now stolen my money. Do not stay here nor book a wedding here - that was a disaster as well!!

Really disappointed and saddened that fireworks were let off during this heat wave. So dangerous

Stayed here for one night before attending a golf event nearby. Booking was easy and on arrival there was plenty of parking. You need to register your car on the terminal in reception. Check-in was simple, and my room was quite large and clean. Decor is period. Bathroom had bath, shower, toilet. Bedroom had TV and complimentary tea/coffee. Bed comfortable and clean. I stayed during a heatwave so had window open but the surroundings were incredibly quiet, so I had a great nights sleep. My only feedback would be that there were no power sockets or usb at the bedside so had to charge my phone on the desk on the other side of the room. However this is a period property so I guess it’s a challenge to run cables around a room without spoiling it. I didn’t eat at the hotel as my golf day included food, but if I stay again I’d like to eat there. This was a delightful hotel and would like to stay again. Service was excellent.
