Location for duxford airshow good. Rooms clean bed very hard pillows not great 2 was too many 1 not enough. Pub after airshow was awful. Nowhere comfortable to sit other than 4 armchairs facing bar with bright lights. Sat at pool area which was ok until someone puf flourescent light on over table. No atmosphere whatsoever. Bar manned by 3 young girls one of which was more interested in flicking her hair around tgan soeaking to customers. No how was your trip or how was show absolutely no interest from them in speaking to customers other than asking your order. If you are not having food don’t bother with having a drink, couldn’t go outside as someone was playing a movior something loud on his phone. Breakfast was ok but 2 slices of bacon (which was nice) 1 sausage, 1tomatoe and 1 hash brown snd a ratger frazzled fried egg (no choice of how you want your egg). Tge best thing was the coffee! I eould only return if I couldnt find anything else.

Two nights eating at this establishment, a great experience on both occasions. The ladies running the bar & food ordering were very pleasant with food arriving within a reasonable timeframe & the quality being very good. Fish & chips on night one, I stop away a lot 2-3 nights most weeks & most places struggle to do a decent F&C but these were really good. Night two was steak, well cooked and very tasty. Highly recommend this place.

We had a wedding here was awful food wasnt very nice Organisation was very poor Staff weren't dressed for a wedding just casual clothes. They didn't know who had ordered what then waited over 30 mins for dessert knowing evening guests were arriving.. Waited over an hour for drink from the bar with no customers waiting just very slow service.. Would definitely not recommend to anyone. We definitely wont be returning for any visit..
