The Prince of Wales

Great place! Lovely atmosphere and room. The food we had for dinner and breakfast was very good. The best thing about this pub though is the landlord Simon. what a lovely friendly person he is! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Top pub! Very good value for accommodation and food. Simon is a great host very flexible. Room 1 slightly larger of the four. We watched the world cup game England v Norway felt like we were part of the family. Thoroughly recommend this pub.

This was a 1-night stay for work. Booking stated could not arrive until 6pm. When I called in advance and spoke with Simon, he stated I could arrive before that time, just to knock on the door and you would be let in (as I was arriving on a Monday and the pub does not open until 6pm on Monday's). Good greeting by Simon and I was in room 1. It was cosy, and good enough for a 1-night stay. Decor was dated but okay. TV was okay as was ensuite. I ate at the venue in the evening (they only cook for residents on a Monday), and it was lovely (steak, chips and salad). Breakfast in morning (included in price) was good cooked breakfast (not served until 7:30am unless request made). Nice little find, when nearby will be back.
