Three Horseshoes Inn

We stayed 3 Nights at the Pub and overall impressed. WE had the En-Suite room small but very quaint and is a very old building. Nice comfy bed and lovely shower. Pub staff very nice and friendly and nice selection of Beers. Lovely village location. Breakfast was very nice .WE had a meal on the fist night but a bit of a let down as Mash with the Bangers and Mash stone cold (they did replace) and Cod fill of bones which we found odd as have this dish regular when visiting Pubs. It they can remedy this small problem and extend the Menu I am sure they will gain a lot ,more business as the other Pub in the village we ate the next to lunchtimes and evenings the food was stunning

We were visiting the area and called ahead to see if they did food on bank holiday Monday. We were told they were doing a bbq till 1900, which was great for us. We arrived at 1730 and got a drink, to find out the bbq had closed as they had run out of food, really disappointing. The other pub in the village wasn’t so food either and given we had both had a drink we were unable to drive anywhere. Luckily a local pointed us in the direction of a food van.

Rude landlord with appalling attitude. Earlier in the day I checked with a lovely member of staff who confirmed that food was being served that evening (Monday) When returning in the evening I was told as we were not bed & breakfast customers we could not order food. They lost our drinks order (already poured) and we left. Thank you to the kind locals who told us where we could go for some excellent food and service The Three Jolly Butchers
