Premier Inn Peterborough (Ferry Meadows)

Stayed one night, fairly quiet location. Room was usual for a Premier inn. Breakfast in the now premier inn restaurant was ok, no self service hot food, all has to be ordered, the coffee machine wasn’t working properly, breakfast overall was average.

We often stay here on our travels from Surrey up north. It is usually good value and the rooms are clean and the bed comfy. The decor could do with a refresh especially in the bathroom. This is common with most premier inns that we stay in I feel. We wouldn’t stay here in hot weather because there is no air conditioning and the window only opens a few inches. We stay in other nearby Premier inns with air conditioning when that occurs. Our most recent stay was on September 11th which was the very first day where their attached Beefeater restaurant closed its doors to non hotel residents. It didn’t seem to affect the food though. We had a meal deal which included dinner and breakfast - all the meals were very tasty and good value. Dinner time was very busy but the service was still pretty good. They seem to have some very good staff here and this makes a difference.

Lovely location. Very clean & the rooms are nice & quiet. There's plenty of places to walk & a really nice garden centre right next door. There's a restaurant for breakfast & evening meal next door. Convenient for visiting relatives.
