I stayed three nights whilst in the area on business on my own. It is more of a guest house than a hotel but none the worse for that. I had a room in the courtyard at the back of the main block (there are two parts to the hotel) and it was near perfect. It wasn't huge but was quiet and comfortable and had clearly been refurbished recently. They don't have a restaurant or bar but there are nice pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast is fun - the breakfast room is small so you need to be there dead at 8 pm if you want a table! I will happily stay here again. At £75 a night what's not to like?

Never stayed here before as we normally stay nearer city centre in Crowne Plaza or Holiday Inn Express but they were way too expensive. This Hotel was half the price and included breakfast/free parking. Hotel had a homely feel and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked a standard room which was for a 1 night stay, it was quite small but well appointed. If we stayed for longer it would be best to upgrade to larger room to give more space for storage etc. The breakfast was really good on par with Crowne Plaza, you could choose full english or browse the cold trolley see pic's. The car parking was great as it was free but also we were allowed to park until 3pm the following day for no charge. The walk into the City centre took approx 20 minutes which was not too bad, the Hotel is on the bus route if required. Overall really impressed for a small Hotel and would definitely stay again/highly recommend.

Comfortable, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Staff pleasant and extremely helpful. Shown around on arrival and advised where to eat. Nothing too much trouble it seemed. Beds comfortable and the house quiet at night so very restful. Located central to access amenities and only a short drive into Chester. Breakfast very good and plentiful with excellent service from smiley staff who were responsive to requests. The only thing I would request on our return would be a walk in shower if possible as it was difficult for my partner who has mobility issues but this does not alter the overall experience and as Chester is a favourite place of ours with so many places to visit we will definitely be back.
