We recently stayed at Carden Park and overall had a wonderful experience. The hotel accommodation, bedrooms, restaurant, and both the breakfast and evening meals were all of a very high standard. The staff throughout the resort were friendly, professional, and extremely attentive, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Both golf courses were presented in excellent condition and deserve real credit, particularly considering the prolonged period without rain. The greenkeeping team should be commended for the quality of the courses. There were, however, a couple of minor points that slightly detracted from our golfing experience. On the Nicklaus Course, we were welcomed on the first tee by a starter, which was a nice touch and helped create a positive first impression. Unfortunately, this was not the case on the Cheshire Course, and we felt that consistency across both courses would have enhanced the experience. In addition, when we visited the halfway houses on both courses, we felt somewhat rushed after purchasing our refreshments. We appreciate that these facilities can become busy, but allowing golfers a little more time to enjoy their food and drinks would have made the experience more relaxing. These were only minor observations, and they certainly did not overshadow what was an excellent stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would have no hesitation in recommending Carden Park to our friends and family. We look forward to returning in the future.
