Very large room with a big comfortable bed. Nice step in shower. Small continental breakfast for an extra price. Very friendly host. Convenient location. Free parking. Evening meal was not available. Old victorian house with very high ceilings. Warm and cosy central heating system. Would highly recommend. Tasteful decorations throughout.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location less than 15 minute walk into the centre, 7 minute drive to the zoo and 8 minute drive to Cheshire oaks. The hotel was spotless clean, and the owners were friendly and helpful they have thought of everything to make your stay perfect.

Avoid at All Costs – Worst Experience Ever I had a booking here from Sunday to Friday, arranged by my company. After driving over 5 hours, I arrived Monday at 1pm only to be told by the owner that he had cancelled my booking and would be keeping the full payment. I explained that I was meant to arrive Sunday night but was delayed due to collecting an urgent prescription for my very unwell mother. His response? “That’s not my problem.” He admitted he had other rooms available but said because I “made him wait” the day before, he now had a “bitter taste in his mouth” and refused to let me stay or refund me. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the country and have never come across such a cold, unprofessional attitude. The room was fully paid for, he had availability, and yet he still turned me away. Completely unacceptable behaviour from someone in the hospitality industry. I left feeling utterly shocked and appalled by the lack of empathy or basic decency. If you value fair treatment, respect, and reliability, I strongly advise booking elsewhere.
