Newton Hall

I have stayed in hotels around the world and the owners of Newton Hall showed us the greatest hospitality I have ever received. The location was amazing, the room fantastic, the cleanliness outstanding, the food hit the spot at breakfast - one of the all round best places I have stayed in years. The double bed could have been a little bigger as this did affect our sleep a little - but this is my only negative comment. I would not hesitate to stay again and recommend it to anyone. I cannot wait to see their new shepherd huts etc. Thanks to Anne and her husband for the high level of communication leading up to our stay and for making this trip to the area, for a Jeep driving experience, very special.

Me and my husband to be stayed here for a special night away to celebrate the one year mark until our wedding day. We took our little dog Ted with us and we were all made to feel so welcome. The rooms are quaint and classically furnished with lovely views over the farm and fields where the B and B is set. Lovely and quiet and very comfy. The owners could not do enough to help us - even making breakfast fresh for us the next day despite there being a power cut!! The B and B is a 20/15 minute walk to the village of Tattenhall with a couple of great pubs and a fab Chinese too! Highly recommended.

This was everyone's favorite lodging on our two week trip. The owner was very kind and let us in early. The rooms were large with a shower in each one. ( we had both ensuite rooms,) The breakfast was excellent. This was my husband's first time in a B and B and he will probably be spoiled forever more, expecting this level of lodging. There is a wonderful Labrador to meet and greet you. The bed was very comfortable. It was very close to Chester where we had a wonderful visit. We would love to visit again
