Just what we needed. Lovely comfortable accommodation with a bit of character and creaky floors. Welcoming host. Great huge towels. Good bed. Quality sheets. Decent water pressure. Decent TV and tea trays. Just off the M6. Sweet village. Red Lion pub 2 minutes walk (out of drive turn right), good food huge portions and had tables free on a Friday night. Perfect stop off on our long motorway journey and to see friends locally. We definitely hope to return.

I arrived very early owing to international flight. But as they had rooms ready they welcomed me and let me choose my room. Breakfasts were delicious, very quiet area, it’s away from restaurants etc so if using Uber like I did be ready to call for rides often. If you want a nice quiet country house experience you’ll enjoy this B&B and the owners were very helpful about local questions.

We stayed at PCH the evening before attending a family funeral in a nearby village. The welcome was warm and sympathetic, the rooms were comfortable and spacious and the breakfast was excellent.
