The Hinton Guest House

A really nice traditional B&B. Anne is very welcoming and knowledgeable of the local area. She takes great pride in the look of her house. Room was very clean and well decorated. Plenty of space for clothes for a longer stay. Traditional breakfast well cooked and hot. Excellent parking. Recommended.

We've stayed on two occasions and overall the Hinton Guest House is very average. The bed sheets were not ironed - maybe not changed? - overall cleanliness a bit dubious. The breakfast provided consisted of the cheapest ingredients available - I didn't realise it was possible to get sausages the size of your little finger until I stayed here. Reviews state it's very quiet - Mobberley is on the flight path from Manchester airport and between 5.30 am and 19.30 pm jets thunder over the village every 5 to 10 minutes. I don't know how people can live there - perhaps you get used to it? Reviews praise the owner Ann for doing everything possible to make your stay perfect - the Ann we met appeared to actually do the bare minimum to get you in and out. I certainly would not recommend this guest house

A fantastic stay at the Hinton Guest House this weekend (21/22 March). We were originally meant to be staying at the Cross Keys in Knutsford, but we weren't informed that the hotel/pub has closed down since we made our booking and so we needed to find alternative accommodation for the weekend. Luckily there was a room available at the Hinton and in hindsight we are glad that we stayed there rather than our original hotel! Beautiful room, very clean and with a comfortable bed. Good location for the surrounding area. The breakfast was great. The owner, Ann, was very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. I highly recommend this guest house and would happily stay again if in the area.
