The Mere

Visited The New Fairmont Cheshire and it's Amazing, the new layout is beautiful and the food was also great, visited the SPA and Hassan shown us around who was absolutely great at his job explained everything in detail and recommended us to start of in the tepadairum room , the indoor pool and outdoor vitality pool was amazing. I had a great time & can't wait to visit again.

My visit here yesterday genuinely far surpassed any of the local spas I’ve visited recently. I understand the spa was actually at capacity, but it never felt overcrowded or busy at any point. The number of guests felt just right. Please never change this! It made such a difference and the whole spa felt calm and relaxing throughout compared to other local spas with a similar price tag where you are scrambling for beds. I also wanted to mention a few members of staff. Emily, who dealt with my booking, was so personable and helpful, really warm and welcoming from the start. Kate, who did my treatment, was beyond amazing. The treatment itself was stunning and she was clearly incredibly skilled, but also just super lovely. Genuinely one of the best treatments I’ve had. I woild definitely ask for her by name next time. The lady serving food and drinks in the spa bar was also so lovely and helpful, as was the lady looking after the beds and towels around the pool. I didn’t catch their names unfortunately, but the lady by the pool noticed me fiddling with a towel and came straight over, closed the curtains around the bed to make it cosy and private and put a fresh towel down for me. Such a little thing, but those small touches make such a difference. The whole spa was clean, calm and just a gorgeous experience from start to finish. Please pass on my thanks to everyone. I'm only around the corner in Knutsford so I’ll definitely be back My husband also really enjoyed the golf club and wanted to mention Sue by name who was a really lovely team member, knew exactly how to interact with the golf players and was more than happy to assist with whatever they needed. Thank you again x

Utterly superb from the moment we arrived - the decor is tastefully done with beautiful flower arrangements around the whole hotel. The staff are incredibly courteous, friendly and helpful - a special mention to Andre in Gordon Ramsey Restaurant and Fabian in The Orangey - so attentive and made us feel special. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable with a art deco inspired look. All the meals we tried on our two night stop were of high quality with local produce, well presented and delicious - the best Raspberry Souffle ever. The one little/minor mention was would have been nice to have breakfast tea in the room! The spa is exceptionally good - a chilled and relaxing time spent there, spotlessly clean. We would totally recommend a stay and already planning a return visit.
