Best Western Everglades Park Hotel

Me and partner did a one night all inclusive Signature package and loved it..there wasn't much to do on the grounds but the food was lovely..the staff was lovely and the rooms was spacious and clean..special mention to the bar star/ waiter called Mike. He made us feel welcome, knew our names and was very polite and funny.. also I had the steak at dinner and it was absolutely top notch.. we will be returning the drinks mostly was branded names..I had a few too many jds.

Overnight stay as we were visiting relatives close by. Hotel is dated and sadly the room smelt very damp. Gluten free breakfast on request.

On arrival the hotel looked lovely and we were excited for our night away. There was a wedding going on, which they had warned us about, that was fine, it was great to see everyone dressed up and excited for the bride and groom. After check in we went to the bar to be told by a member of staff that we weren’t allowed in there, she was quite rude and felt like she was batting us away. We went to the small bar around the other side and were served. The soup and sandwich lunch was satisfactory, but I couldn’t get the sour taste of the rudeness out of my mouth. Dinner was delicious, a special mention to Jim who was amazing, he worked so hard to make sure everyone was happy and served in a timely manner. Jim made the trip for us. The room was good, the beds not very comfortable but we slept fine. Breakfast was good. In the morning the outside was particularly messy, with lots of cigarette ends, full ashtrays and glasses lying around. Not sure we’ll go again and I’m sorry to say that is largely due to the very rude bar person.
